Harrah’s, the parent group of Caesar’s Casino, announced that it will be opening a hotel find a casino complex in Ontario province sometime in early 2008. The new property will be in Windsor, Ontario, across the river from Detroit, Michigan. The present day Casino Windsor is part of the plan, with the Romanesque structure built around it. In addition to the casino, there will be a twenty-two story hotel tower and a five thousand seat entertainment center for shows. The present property will be renovated to fit into the Caesar plan. Caesar’s properties are known for their ancient Roman theme. The casino will be expanded to include more internet gambling tables than it presently does. It will also provide fine dining, elegant rooms and top shows for its guests.

The Caesar’s Windsor will offer the Total Rewards as a marketing-loyalty program for its customers. This program, planned to begin in 2007 II, will allow Casino Windsor customers to earn reward points when they play baccarat games in the casino. They will be able to use the credits that the accumulate for meals, trips, concerts, and other items at any Harrah’s property in Las Vegas, Windsor, Lake Tahoe, Atlantic City and New Orleans. Players will be able to begin accumulating credits before Caesar’s Windsor officially opens. This is a good plan for players who play there regularly now. They can earn points as they play that they can save and use at other properties for a vacation at a later date.
