When people think of casinos and gambling site in Nevada they think of Las Vegas and Reno. There are the two big gambling centers in Nevada that have been made famous over the years, but they aren’t the only gambling centers in the state. Henderson, a Las Vegas suburb, has its share of UK virgin casino as does Lake Tahoe. An interesting question is where do the locals go to gamble when they want to play. Most go to Boulder. Boulder is a small community located about twenty miles from Las Vegas. It is a part of the Hoover Dam-Lake Mead Recreation area located outside of Las Vegas near the Arizona border. Visitors to this area have beautiful Lake Mead at their doorstep with all of its recreational activities.

Boulder does not have the big glitzy mega resorts that Las Vegas does because of its zoning ordinances. Hotels are much smaller in Boulder. Boulder is a little less expensive than Las Vegas but it still has casinos and bingo parlors. It also has better payouts than Las Vegas which is why it is where the locals go to gamble. Players who are interested in payouts should consider staying in Boulder. Las Vegas is only minutes away with the Strip and all of the themed mega resorts so the visitor can still visit on a regular basis. But if the player is interested in serious UK gambling, he should consider Boulder. The better payouts of the games give the player a better chance to win and more playing for his money.
