Online Gambling for Newbies - Casino Stud Poker

If you are looking for a crowd-pleaser when you are choosing the right game to play, you might fall in love with Casino Stud Poker. Unlike traditional poker, all players at the table are going to be playing against the dealer and not against each other. Online Casino Stud Poker is played in a similar fashion. It is simple and it will all start with making your bet and receiving your hand.

Once you have your hand, the dealer will receive their hand. Of their hand, you will get to see one card face up and the other four cards face down. Based on the one card you can see, it is up to you to decide what you want to bet. If you think you can win then you can make your bet. Otherwise, you can surrender if you think your hand is not good enough.

If the dealer's hand is able to qualify, they must have an Ace/King combination or better to do this, and you have bet then the hands of both you and the dealer will be compared. The payoff if you win will be determined by how well your hand holds up. Each casino is different in their payout schedules and rates so you will want to look into this before you decide to play at a new casino.

We have discussed how to play briefly but there are obviously a few more rules especially if you are playing in the multiplayer game. In this particular casinos game, you are not allowed to exceed $200 per wager or 1/3 of your current balance whichever is higher. To begin playing you make your wager, which is done by clicking on your chips to add or remove them and then hitting ante.

If you are deciding to play the multi-player version there will be a maximum of five players at the table plus the dealer. You can change your position on the table by pointing at the seat and clicking the mouse when there is a prompt that allows you to change your seat. If you decide you want to move seats, you will be able to do so between hands but not during the game.

Once your ante is put on the table you can choose to either skip the deal you would be dealt or receive it as you should. If you do not want it, you can click pass otherwise you would go with hitting deal. You have about 15 seconds to make your decision before you will be locked out of the hand for that round. If this happens, you will just have to wait until the next hand begins to play.

In addition to the general hand wager, you can play poker for a bonus jackpot. By placing a minimum amount of money into the pot, you can ante into the bonus round either before or after placing your regular ante. Keep in mind that you will need to place this bet before you see your hand. You will be able to see how high the bonus jackpot is getting as it will increase with each bet.

Once your bets have been made, you can hit the deal button and you will be ready to go. The poker game starts with you receiving your five cards. The dealer receives their cards and you can bet or surrender based on whether you think you can win or lose. You should be aware though that if you surrender the dealer will win your ante and the hand ends. Going forward with your bet means that you will add double the amount of your bet to the pot.

Once you have made your bet the dealer has to qualify. If he does not qualify then you receive a payoff of equal value to your original wager and the rest of the wager is returned for future betting. If the dealer qualifies then your hands are compared. If the dealer wins, he receives your entire bet and you get nothing. If you win you receive your original bet plus the extra wager, and a payoff amount based on your hand. If a tie comes up then it goes solely on card ranking and whoever has the highest set of cards will win.

If you are unsure of the rankings of the cards, you can find a brief description below:

Nothing - No Matches

One Pair - Two cards which are the same number

Two Pair - Two groups of the same number

Three of a kind - Three cards that match

Straight - Five cards that do not match suit but that go in order of number value

Flush - Any five cards of the same suit

Full House - Three matching cards and a set of two matching cards

Four of a Kind - Just how it sounds - Four matching cards

Straight Flush - Five cards in order that are from the same suit.
